Activities: Carting, mini-golf at CJ Barrymore's! Potentially museums on Sunday, such as The Henry Ford, if demand exists.

Hotel Details:
Comfort Inn Utica on Hall Rd.
Block of 15 double rooms with refrigerators and nukers and big TVs
$95/night

You may be able to request a double room with a hot tub for +$2/night

Call 586-739-7111 to make a reservation under 'GenVibe' by May 29th. After this date the block will be opened up and will not be held for us. You may cancel up to 4pm same-day as the reservation.

I've never been to a meet before, but this one is 20 minutes away from me, so I guess I'm going! Uh, what do we do at a meet?

Basically this time around we are going to do some go-karting and the usually hanging around at the hotel. Parking lot mods, beer drinking, etc. the fun stuff! Come on down.

If you're nearby (or not) feel free to come on by. We like meeting new people. We've got a few people making a 12+ hour drive to come hang out.

Nick. We're approaching this meet within the next three weeks. How does attendance look? Like in the past, try to post a list of who will be there. I'll be driving my recent acquisition the 2004 Orange Vibe GT for all to check out. Maybe the wife can drive the 2009 Vibe Gt too! Give Facebook a break and spend more time over here

Missing this one makes me especially sad, being in one of my favorite states ever. #home We're not even getting up north to visit this summer, though we are are trying to take a different trip later in the summer, and did already take one to Viriginia.

Now that I think about it... June '19 might be out, unless I can combine it with another trip for another event I'm planning to attend.

Ack... cobwebs. I really need to visit here more often....

ANYWAY here's something of an itinerary:

FRIDAY: Everyone arrives. I'll be there some time in the afternoon to meet & greet. However, since I live just an hour away, I will not be staying at the Utica hotel overnight. As per usual I suspect a few of us will head off for dinner that night, and hang out a while before Saturday...

SATURDAY: Generally we make a time to be up and ready for the day on Friday, but since it appears we're going to have several members that aren't staying overnight, we should set a time. For now, let's say 10am. At 10am we will convene, hang out, get brunch if we haven't gotten food already, and start making plans. At some point we will head to CJ Barrymore's for entertainment purposes. We'll get back to the hotel eventually, hang out, and probably play games well into the night (Cards Against Humanity is a possibility, along with Jackbox Party Pack).

SUNDAY: We'll see who wants to stick around, and at that point make any plans, but generally, Sunday is the day we all head back home. You are under no obligation to hang out or do things.

As for communication, since I've shunned Facebook from my mobile device, I suggest we gather in a chat group so we all can be in on any goings-ons and stay up to date, even if we sleep in or arrive late. As such, I'll organize a Facebook Messenger group for everyone. Please put your name here if you want to be in on the Messenger group, and I'll add you when time comes.

Tim, you have my cell number. If you don't, let me know. We can stay in touch that way.

Ya think !!!!!! Facebook is making you "brain dead"! That's one of the many side effects of Facebook, thus I will not be a part of it.

Yep got it! Give me a hotel address where to meet. I plan on leaving the Toledo area around noon and hang with you guys most of the afternoon. Stay for dinner and then head to the lake (it's suppose to be near 100'f again!) I'll have the newly acquired 2004 Fusion Vibe GT

Seemed like a great turnout! I wish I could have made it. Next year I'll be there for sure.

Gee, Tim, did you have the only '09 red GT? I remember the time there were three of us, plus Michelle's '09 red base. Thanks for the pics ... looks like it was definitely better than last year. Sorry to miss you all, I have no vacation time this summer, but hope to make next year.

Tim actually brought his newly acquired 04 Fusion Vibe GT, so I had the one and only 2nd gen .

Tim and I were reminiscing about Indy and how miserably hot it was.
