Western Region Meet!

Post by dustie »

Hey guys! I figured I'd take the initiative and see if any other west coasters wanted to set up a meet since they have the Lake Erie thing going. Any ideas for locations or input would be awesome.. Or even just a head count so we can get a general idea..

I would be down if there was enough interest.

Well I am sure if we dont get enough troops rallied up here we could do something joint with the Matrix board. They seem pretty active over there..

im sure we could find some where cool.. and ive been talking to the matrixowners.com guys.. they are pretty active.. just vegas alone has 5-10 members that meet weekly. if you guys are down to do a joint event im sure we'd have a WAYYYY bigger turn out.. and im sure they'd be down as active as they are

Changed my mind on our destination, I think we are going to hit Colorado Springs, Manitou and Pikes peak... wouldn't it be COOL to have a meet on Pikes Peak?!

It would be great if I managed to go, although the idea of city driving makes me a-scared.

August is probably the best time for me too, after harvest. We like to take our vacations in early august, so we can get away just before school starts.

City driving, not bad.. Vegas has terrible drivers and I can still manage to zip around in my 5 speed without getting damaged. I'd be down for August. Lets pick a real date as well as a place so we can all start planning accordingly.. Hopefully some where without snow because my body kit should be on by then.. with my lowering springs.. PROBLEMATIC!

Everywhere has bad drivers! You should see some of the morons we have here!!!How about the first or second weekend in August? As for a place, Vegas works just fine!

If we do vegas it can be cost effective as far as actually being here.. Pretty decent hotels get as low as like $25 plus I can have some people crash at my place.. Ive got a giant loft as well as a living room we can bunk people in. There is always something to do here as well... Concerts, shows, sports, somethinggg.. and tons of cool photo ops. I am open to going some where else too if you guys dont want to make that far of a drive.. Colorado is always awesome.. I know thats where most of the drivers will be coming from I believe..

A lady in the right lane suddenly decided to turn left directly in front of him...needless to say, his car was totaled. Here's hoping I keep my "raid awareness" up enough to avoid people that are doing silly, silly things!

Oregon vote... :). Crazy recent life events keep me from traveling, so unless it's in/around Portland I'm probably out. Definitely needs to happen for the West Coast members though. Erie, PA is definitely out of range.
