All I use is a microfiber cloth and water. Comes out fine.

I have tried so many different combinations of things to clean car windows and nothing has ever worked very well, until the Invisible Glass/newspaper combination. Glad it worked well for you !

just becareful if your windows are tinted. the news paper may scratch the film. If your windows are tinted you would be better off using the microfiber cloth

I won't even use paper towels because they still have slivers of wood still present in the roll.

I like armorall glass cleaner and microfiber cloth for the inside. That cleaner is very cheap and it has no ammonia. Its pretty mild and seems to leave the windows streak free. On the outside windows I use a spray can of 3M foaming glass cleaner. That stuff is also non-ammoniated and it gets the windows very clean. Apparently its safe to use on the inside too and on window tint according to a description of the product I read. That stuff has a stronger smell and seems to be a bit more harsh which is why I only use it on the outside.
White vinegar and any clean rag/newspaper/paper towel I have handy. You can use the vinegar either full strength or dilute in water. Streak free, and non toxic. Would you be willing to drink the other cleaners?

I've never considered drinking vinegar or cleaners as far as I can remember.I have tried a bunch of products to clean inside car windows and really found Invisible Glass to do the best job. One of these days, I will give vinegar a try... but I'm still going to stick with plain water when I get thirsty, Beemer.
