Simple and fast way to remove bugs: dryer sheet and warm water. Any brand, does not need to be Bounty. I keep a box in my motorhome and in the garage. Wet the front of vehicle, wipe with dryer sheet dipped in warm water. Bugs wipe right off. If no warm water, use cold.Dan
Dryer sheet, eh??? Gotta remember that one....The drive to Portland usually takes 8.5 - 9 hours with the border and traffic. Funny thing though, the I-5 from the border to Portland had about 1 cop per 30 miles or so. Inbetween Kelowna and Chilliwack on the Coquihalla/Connector there are NEVER any cops, none. So the average speed is between 130-170km/h (even the trucks do 130). Bugs/Birds splatter nicely at those speeds but there's never any deer on the road!!!

If you keep a good coat of wax on the front of the car the bugs actually come off with minimal effort.

Wash the old bugs off, new bugs appear. Paint seems to be fine, although the car needs constant washing as it's very dusty at work. But I am thinking about one of the clear car-bra products. This is what 5 Winters of the Rogers pass will get you. The entire front end has these chips...
