I work at a mill, sawdust in the air is unavoidable (unless I carpool to work...ugh!) There is no covered parking and nowhere to keep a car cover (not that the wind would allow it to remain on the car). When it rains lightly (which it's done most days for the past few weeks) more dust is taken out of the air and deposited, nicely, on the car. So when it dries you get these woderfully shaped, waterdropplet sized, sawdust spots covering the whole car! We never seem to get a decent rain, only little cloudbursts. Going to the car wash everyday is not something I overly want to do.So what would one of the better products be to get the water to sheet off the car as I don't really want to be driving a Red (at least it's not Black) AND Yellow spotted car around? And whoever though up the cabin air filter - give them a big fat raise as it keeps ALL dust out! Unlike the Sunfire when, after a few days, turn the fan on - WOOSH - dust storm inside the car, every nook and cranny!!! <--- does this give any detailers nightmares???
I would try to detail your car and use a sealant instead of a wax. It gives you almost the same appearance, but wax attracts dust and pollen and stuff. So many a sealant will help you out.
