Feeler: Whose interested in picture detailing tips

Post by Whelan »

As I said I will be going over my car in full force come end of June. I am going to do the car in steps hopefully over a weekend. I wanted to get an idea of how many people are intersted in me posting topics like the following:Detailing your Engine BaySwirl/Scratch Removal on PaintHeadlight/Taillight PolishingGlass CleaningInterior detailingPlastic, vinyl, cladding polishing (w/ pics this time)Wheel well, tire, wheel polishing and cleaningCurb rash repairOf course this will not all get done in a weekend but over the summer for some things. If you want to know/learn let me know and I can be sure to take pics and make the posts.

Sounds like a great idea to me... we can always use tips like this and they will all be together, not spread out through 20 different posts. Put my X in the box marked "Go for 'em all!" headlight and tailight polishing

I figured I didn't need to ask, but now you all have a heads up, hopefully my stuff is do in tomorrow. Kinda sucks my main supplier is in Arizona and here I am stuck on the East Coast. This really crap cloudy rainy weather for the past two weeks has been killing me and my car. I'll be sure to get ones up as I go along with the process. Maybe I can start Sunday with the engine bay or interior and then get the outside done come next Sunday. This Saturday is wedding registry stuff and next Saturday is the engagement party. Money and gifts, what could be better.Already asked the fience to go to Sears to scan gun some tools, that didn't really go in my favor lol.

Interested.... yes... Please break up each part into a different post, if you don't mind, they tend to get long and bandwidth intensive if there FULL of pics...

breath Keith, breathe....lolI haven't even started yet. I was out drinking last night and ended up at an Irish Festival till early AM. I'm heading out on my cousins jet ski in a few, hitting some beaches drink a few beers then back. I'll be doing registry stuff tonight then meeting a friend for a going away party, he is moving to LA. I probably wont get started till either Sunday or during this week on things like the engine bay. So stay tuned.P.S. - the camera batteries are fresh!
