Replacement rocker panels

Post by harpo »

Anyone know of a source for replacement rocker panels? The rest of my 2003 Vibe is in good shape but for some reason the rockers, especially the drivers side, is pretty bad underneath the plastic covers.

I have contacted all sources I have used for replacement panels and they all say the same thing: "not available."

Any help appreciated.

Any way you can post pics so we can see the severity of the rust/decay? You may have to visit a junkyard (preferably in the south) and have them cut off a donor car then weld onto your Vibe. Where are you located?

I'd like to agree with tpollauf.... The front of the rear wheel wells collects everything and eventually rot out and then it spreads. I'd also check that none of the plugs in the bottom of the rocker cover are missing. that'll expedite it.
