2003-08 fender/mud guard screw part number

Post by ehoff121 »

Noticed my front left mud guard was missing a screw. The wheel well liner bolts are meant to be re-used and aren't included in the mud guard kit.

The GM part 88970765 was $3.69 for a single screw.

Toyota had the same screw for $0.56.

Toyota part number is 90159-60602.

Yea, but was the Matrix part color matched like the OEM Vibe screw? Just messin'. ;) This is good to know. That's a significant price difference!!! Several interchangeable Matrix/Vibe parts come up with this kind of crazy pricing discrepancy.

My Vibe lost one of those same mud guard screws... I found a similar bolt head screw in my extra parts jars, but it wasn't black, so it stands out a bit when the car's clean. It wont be doing that for very long, rust will tone it down some eventually.

Heh, I'd tell you, but the dealer I ordered it from in Arizona sent it in a plain manilla envelope that arrived with a giant hole in it.

Somewhere in a postal sorting facility there's a couple of bolts underneath a machine and a repair tech thinking, "where did these come from???"
