Door Handle Interchange

Post by robb »

My passenger door exterior handle is broken off. It looks like the exterior handles from the Matrix, Camry, Corolla, Hilux, Highlander, and RAV4 are all the same as my Vibe's handle. I am not sure if the inner workings are the same though. Can anyone confirm if these are all interchangable? If so I am going to purchase one I found from a RAV4. Thanks for the help.

I received my 2001-2009 Toyota RAV4 door handle in the mail yesterday and it looked just like my handles aside from it being somewhat shiny. I read up on disassembly/assembly of the door handle and installed it in just a few minutes. It fits perfectly and works great! So as far as I can tell the Camry, Corolla, Hilux, Highlander, Matrix, RAV4, and Vibe all have the same door handles; some at differerent prices. I paid $18 bucks shipped for mine from ebay.
