outside spots/from the road?

Post by remusrm »

i got some odd while little spots on the left side of the car. they look like paind but paint thiner did not take it out. i tried goo gone, brake fluid, wd40, and road/tar remover. only thing that worked was scrubing but got tired after doing the back part of the car. also the scrubing kinda took some shine and slightly took the clear coat off. i am mad. any help?

my only guess is if it's on the gray plastic moulding it could be wax that was over applied.

Have you determined if the spots are on or in the paint? If the spots are in the paint then it could be overspray from the factory. If the spots are on the paint try clay. If the spots don't come off with clay then seek proffessional help.

well, looks like road paint... but i can scratch it off with my nail, but if you do that, it seems to scratch the paint. so i got a few sports. seems like it came off the tire...
