Since so many members now have aftermarket wheels, I thought it might be a good idea to consolidate everybody's pictures into a single post. This way, people looking to get new wheels can have a central place to look for ideas and see how different styles look on different colors. Please post your pics with information on the wheel and tire specs. My frosty GT has the following wheels/tires:17x7 ADR White Trauma 225/45-17 Kumho 711
I need to snap some good vehicle pix when I get them back on in a week or so, but here's a proof of concept shot (Not Photoshopped!) of my 17"x10" Corvette bolt pattern Speedline with 275/40 Firehawk SZ spinning at 160+ KPH while the floating hub remains stationary..
And here's one of the "floater mechanism" I dreamed up. (The long rectangle is a strip of stick-on wheel weights, one ounce per, to keep the disc always vertical...
Ikon 17" gunmetal rims with chrome lip. 45mm offset. 711 Kumho P215/45R17 tires. And obviously my rims are on the left, a friend's rims are on the right.

I did find a model from Millie Miglia that looks similar but is only available in 16" and 17":http://www.tirerack.com/wheels...Paintand these also have a similar design:http://www.tirerack.com/wheels...Painth ... ls...Paint
Cool thanks... i think ima stick with trying to get the Tc's or the Matrix XR rims. Gotta see what i can do with the budget first. You guys rock!

There seems to be quite a few more Matrixes sold in Ontario than Vibes and, if you want air, you have to order the XR, which comes with 16" alloys. I got this set cheap from a young guy in Toronto who claimed that his sister caused the curb rash on the alloys. So I used a sanding pad on my angle grinder to smooth things out and had a local paint shop match the paint and make up a spray bomb. Picked up a set of lugnuts off of Ebay from a guy in Nova Scotia. Voila!
MassiveOverkill / engineertwin2 :Those are nice looking wheels , but you both need to lower your Vibes! Too much wheel well gap! And you both live in southern (warm climate) states, so you can't use snow as an excuse! And engineertwin2...you should paint your calipers red to match. That would look awesome!Course...that' just my opinion, but I doo think they would both look a lot better if they were lowered!

Vibe is coming down an inch and half in a couple of weeks, and the calipers get painted red at the same time...it's like you guys (and gal) were reading my mind!

The ride is a little harsh (to be expected with a 35-series tire), but the handling is superb! With the Vibe being lowered approx. 2.5" all the way around, I have no rub issues except when doing some serious hauling on some mountain roads (front drivers side rubs wheel well liner on a hard breaking right hander--mostly because of my weight on the drivers side--250lbs--doesn't rub on passenger side). Otherwise, this thing handles like a slot car!I wouldn't reccommend to everyone, but if you like a tight handling car, then suspension and a +2 or +3 on the tires/wheels will definitely make a difference!VIVA la difference!!!!!

yeah i like the big rim and wheel look always have just dont want them to big thats why i wanted to know how the 19 rode but now that i know i think i might go for that size
It's not just the ride with the 19s, they are also really easy to ding on potholes with such short sidewalls. After checking out the look of a ton of wheels on my Vibe here: http://www.tirerack.com/ I concluded that 18s looked just right. (and then I used a set of 17s I had lying around...)
