don't want to spend a fortune for them (one parts store I stopped at was only pulling up the standard acorn lug nuts. Another parts store was able to find the correct ones but at $10 a piece, I laughed and walked out the door)you can buy them from here for a much more affordable price.

Your link isn't working. Gosh I forgot to check on amazon, oh well. The ones I bought from the link I provided doesn't have the chrome cap which I was looking for. I find it ridiculous that parts store wants $10 per lug nut. I hate to see what the dealership would charge.

Here's a direct search with those keywords. (It is a dead link. Looks like it was pulled VERY recently)

2003 GT

I'm seeking replacements for the lugnuts on my new pride and joy.
The existing ones seem to have a chrome sheath of some ilk and they deform from the socket.
I seek replacements to fit the fancy wheels. I can live without the chrome to be sure I can get them off when I must.

If you have this wheel (or the optional 17" that is similar to this), you need the flat lug nuts.

If you have this wheel, you need the acorn lug nuts.

Essentially the difference comes down to the mating surface. On the steel rim, it is a conical/tapered seat. So you need a lug nut that works with that too.

On the alloy rim, as the first picture, the mating surface of the lug nut to the rim is flat. Because of this, you need the flat (commonly called mag) lug nuts.

Thanks. I'll look at flat ones with a deep post for the socket.

I found a set at my junkyard for my OEM steelies. They let me have em for free granted I was buying some other parts as well.

I just ordered a set of flat, mag style.

I can't even get the wheels off my Vibe, the lugs on there are so mismatched and mangled from impact wrenches I don't dare until I've got a full new set of them onhand. Even then, there's at least one lug nut so rounded I might need professional help with it. It looks like maybe a 23mm hex will grab it, but I don't yet have a 23mm. Some of them, the 7/8ths fits best, most of them seem to be 22mm.

OEM lug nuts are a 21mm. Your best bet might be to buy one of these.
