GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

Hello All: I recently purchased a 2007 Vibe with 72k miles. It has the 16" wheels. I already own a 2006 Vibe with the 17" alloy wheels and the TPMS.
What is involved in switching the 2006 alloy wheels and tires to the 2007 Vibe which does NOT have the TPMS system and then what do I need to do so that the TPMS system will work on the 2006 with the 16" wheels and tires from the 2007? Thanks, newbie 2007 owner

It should be as simple as taking both sets of wheels to a tire place and have the TPMS sensors moved from one set to the other set of wheels. It should be part of the valve stem and they should be able to move them over with possibly the need for a "rebuild kit". Tire shops move them to aftermarket wheels all the time.
