I got some New, New wheels

Post by sk8r78 »

Okay after running the same wheel in 3 different paint schemes, I have finally moved on. This is what I'll have when Spring hits and all threats of snow are gone. Specs are, Sport Max XXR 006 Black/Red, 18x7.5, 42 offset Came with some nifty little rim bootiesand got some new lugnutz too.

What tires are you going to run. Nice wheels. Too bad you can't bring the Trix into the living room to try the new wheels on it! Someone find some Rust-eze for Grizz's nutz, quick.

Tires will be Fuzion ZRI's 225/40. I had them mounted on my BSA wheels in June and dismounted in Oct. So they are waiting impatiently in the basement.

I just weighed them and they come in at a svelte 23lbs, not exactly in the light weight catagory, and I wasn't overly concerned about it, but they are a pound less than my old wheels, so thats gotta be worth a smidge of torque feel, lol What it lacks in performance is made up for, in appearence.

Sublime I just edited the postThanx Becky, for divulging my secret spot, lol Brian Snow in the forcast made it easy to take them off, but it still sucked having to do it. I have a whole slew of new things for this spring, putting them on temporarily made me add a few things to the list, so the next reveal will be a doosy. Thanx all for the compliments

Secret spot? That's pretty pathetic. There are better spots you can choose, even in Mapleton Iowa! Let's see...the street the Catholic church is on...take that past the church, just across the highway, and there used to be a cool bridge out there. Have NO idea what is out there now, but it used to be kind of cool when I was younger. I dig the red trim on the black--looks hot.
