Post by TheBri »

I am debating on between the hyper black ZR1 and either the hyper black EVO6 or anthracite. They will be going on the silver 04 vibe GT. Anyone have some input?Thankshttp://www.enkei.com/Performance%20specs/zr1.html for the ZR1http://www.enkei.com/Performance%20specs/evo6.html for the EVO5

ZR1s...they don't have 5 extra holes in them. I always thought that looked cheap

I realy like the ZR1 because they are light weight and it only has 5 holes which makes the rims look like they are ment for the car, but the center cap is plastic and I am not a fan of that. The EVO6 are nice because the center cap is aluminum which is sweet and I realy like the coloured ring along the polished lip and then the painted on ENKEI symboles to brack it up. Just not a fan of all the extra hole for it to fit but I guess one advantage of that would be that you could put it one other cars if wanted. With the EVO6 not to sure on what colour to go with either but if I got the ZR1 it would be the hyper black. What do you guys/gals think? Thanks

Well its a done deal I ended up going with the EVO6 anthracite 18x7.5". I really wanted the ZR1 but they didn't make them with the right offset, so there was one way to get them. I was going to get 17" but I would have had to wait a while for them so I ended up paying alittle more for the 18"s but I think its going to be worth it. I will post up a pic of them once I get them on my car.Thank you all for the input and helping me make my decision. Now I have to figure out how much I can drop it ( no more than 2" ) and with what springs and struts??? Also have to get the K&N short ram but I haven't been able to find it! Anyone have any idea's??? Then after all that I am thinking on the JSP Carbon Fiber Hood!Bri

I am loving them, everyone tells me they suit the car. I went with my buddy from work that has the 06 civic 2 door and he got enkei's also not the same ones but they realy look good on this car also. we went with the same tires, and what can I say, except they total changed the handleing of my car just need to lower it now. and paint the calps.
