2003 Base as purchased end of May 2017 - With a few issues to include majorly loud engine tick.
Medium Red Mica w/gray trim
Automatic transmission
Factory radio with broken antenna
Small dent under passenger rear tail-light and 2 door dings
Had a mild front end collision, no frame damage. Hood's slightly crooked.
Ball joints shot
Noisy sway bar links
Overly loud tick or rattle of engine

Items done so far
New radio with blue-tooth and wifi
New ball joints and tie rod ends
New pads and rotors, front
New shoes, springs and drums, rear
New Trans Fluid
New Power Steering Fluid ATF
New Brake Fluid
New Coolant Zerex Asian

Things done to fix the tick
Oil change at first 10 miles (Cheap Synth w/filter)
Oil change again at 15 miles (Cheap Synth w/filter) Still black
Oil change again at 20 miles (Mobile 1 5w30 w/ boss filter) still pulling junk out of engine
New Drive belt tensioner (Toyota Original) and drive belt
VVT Oil control valve (Toyota Original)
Pulled and cleaned VVT filter, ordered new as was like tar inside.

At this point the tick was much less but something still was not right

Still waiting for 2 parts at that time for engine here is what I did I know this will make some cry out (removed)
At 35 mile from purchase:
Drained oil
Pulled VVT Oil control valve and filter
Pulled timing chain tensioner
Using 2 cans of sea foam spray and long straw soaked each opening and deep inside through VVT and timing tensioner holes.
Pulled oil filter and replaced with cheap super store filter
Replace drain plug
Poured in 2.5 quarts of Kerosene (Battery is disconnected and no never started engine)
After hour or two used second can of sea foam on all opening again (Yes the whole can)
Shut the hood and waited until morning & part guy
------
Next day about 10 hours later drained all black liquid and sludge from engine
Fog oiled all opening and hole including oil filler hole
Put back on old (orginal) but cleaned VVT Filter, VVT Oil Controler and timing chain tensioner
Oil filled oil by 1 quarts and started her up for 5 minutes

No TICK or Rattle!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drain oil again hot this time and pulled filter, factory VVT Valve, VVT Filter and Orginal timing chain tensioner
Let completely drain as I changed out the spark plugs for new AC/Delco ones
Cleaned New VVT Control Valve and reinstalled
New VVT Filter installed
New Timing chain tensioner install coat in assembly lube
New Wix oil filter installed
Mobile 1 5w30 to little above second dot on dip stick

Purrs like a kitten and no leaks or oil usage

At 101 miles after purchased

Again swapped Trans fluid and power steering fluid
Steam Cleaned interior
Fixed window clank by trimming door stop
Replaced antenna
Repaired rear tailgate lock can now open window
Hand Washed and full wax
Restored headlights

At 750

Oil change and was clear and gold this time - Dropped pan and was clean
Trans oil and filter

Things that need to be fixed since I bought it
Rear cup holder broken - Still looking for one
No cargo mat (fixed)
Re-circulation thingy
Fan Resistor
