The paint ain't great, but the body is solid as a rock, going to plasti-dip a bra on the front. high flow air filter, Sony HU but upgrading to a Pioneer touch screen w/ backup camera, powered sub,Kenwood 6" in dash, aftermarket tweeters, amplified antenna with the stock one. changing some dash lights (AC, rear defrost, Cig lighter to blue) otherwise stock orange-ish red. over 200k on the car unkown mileage on the eng since I bought it used from a scrap yard years ago, 3rd owner. first owner blew the eng by NEVER getting the oil changed... Literally never. but we're still flying!

I have a white 05. If I polish the body the paint looks much better. But the paint on my bumper is soft and seems to be without a clear coat. No matter what I do I can't bring any shine out of it.

yes I have that issue as well it has been gouged to the plastic, I am going to attempt plasti-dip the front bumper to make a "bra" I will post pics here when done, if the weather will get nice again and I can get the time.

You going to keep it the same color or really "bra" it up and do it black?

I'm going to keep the same color, if it works out might change to black and do the front and back bumper and the wheel well trim

I know there is no better way than taking the bumper off, sanding and repaint it. I will try it in the summer.
