Basist4 2003 Vibe base

Post by basist4 »

Just bought myself a 2003 base Vibe w/ 107,000 mi on the clock.
looks like it has the Moon & Tunes package...

It needs a little love...
Definitely has the power window issue w/ the door catch interfering which I'll have to address. Needs new door catches anyways as those are completely worn out.

Stereo NEEDS to be replaced as well as speakers

I've been searchin' the threads and learning as much as I can...
Just glad to be here.

Congrats on the purchase! Vibes are an awesome buy for a daily driver. They are good on gas and extremely reliable. Be sure to post some pictures and update your profile to reveal your location. If you happen to be near me I would be glad to help you get your vibe up to tip top shape! ;)

got the new head unit and rear speakers in...still need to do the fronts and door checks.

Did the DRL disable (cut red wire) and direct wired in my radar detector.
I do NOT want to crawl back under that damn dash again any time soon!!!

oil changed and spray cleaned MAF sensor and TB butterfly.

just about to hit 108k on the clock...so far, so good!
