miles galore

Post by MermaidPa »

New to site.
My 2003 base Vibe now sports 206,672 original miles! Have gone through 4 sets of tires, 2 catalytic converter, one starter, and this year an axle joint(thought my engine fell out). This car is amazing.
Oh, and it is a manual. A/C died long ago, but all my Windows/sunroof work. Does any one else have these miles on their Vibe?? :D

Congrats on your first post, 11 years later. :) And congrats on the milestone!

206k is just getting broken in with these cars. Many have made it to 299,999 miles where the odometer stops working, and many have gone well beyond that. Reaching the 400k mark isn't out of the question with these great cars.

Not even at 99k here yet on my wife's '03. It's going to take many more years to see that kind of mileage. :D

Welcome to GenVibe! That's a good amount of miles. My 04 base auto has 128k (a young girl), and a friend owns an 03 GT I want that has 190k. No worries about either of them. Are you still on your factory transmission? 03/04 5-speeds had issues with bearings going. If it's still good than that's impressive.

Welcome to GenVibe! That mileage is definitely pretty impressive, although as others have already said, barely broken in as far as Vibes go! Post some pictures of your Vibe when you get a chance. We love pictures around here :D!
