bottom 2/3 has 3/8'' gel floor mat
mold resistant carpet padding
memory foam piece for "polyfil"

I took the trim off to stop it from rattling. If you do this make sure you remove the 8 clips from the inside. If you don't you will break or bend them. Most importantly you can't get it back on.

After:
Note the space behind the sunroof is half covered, the padding i used was just thick enough to get caught on the last few inches of operation.

Skid plate/ splash guard. 3x3 sheet metal covered on both sides with EPDM membrane and bolted (many more times than shown) to the undercarriage. Goes from under the front bumber lip to just before the front wheels with some space for efficient airflow.

I needed to remove this ring from the plastic part and cut the endge of the housing so i'd have enough clearance from the door cover + foam for surround.

Just curious how much quieter the Vibe is after all that insulation was added? Radio OFF of course!

I would also like to know! Sound deadening is on my short list for when the warm weather comes around.

Yeah warm weather would be nice!
I used old roofing epdm membrane I got for free. (sure beats 100s for the real stuff)
But i had to use contact cement to put it on and it requires the surfaces to be 65 degrees+ a day before and 2 days after.
The "peel and seal" works but the directions say to use adhesives anyways.

Right now there are still gaps in all the doors.
Also, the plastic trim currently removed in the rear has hefty padding.(i'll update with pics)
The rubber will help vibrations caused by the sub woofers but the padding and solid plastic barrier really make the difference.
So right now it's very loud

I currently don't have any speakers or amps in there but i will post what i have laying around.

Thanks for looking

Updated with some more pics!
I finally have some speakers going!! I'll post a pic of my Alpine head unit in action soon.
I have the alpine components in the front doors and pioneer coaxle in the rear.
The pioneers are temporarily running off an MA audio 600xe

I put back on all the rear plastics a WOW so quiet! I took it for a spin in the rain on the highway and was very impressed at what all the deadening did.

Hopefully i'll be getting the American made bada$$ Rockford 700s if i can scrape 100$ between the month's bills.

It's time to give the car an audio rest and get back to the amp shop to repair my Rockford 400-2, Rockford 400.4, and Hifonics 1000D - I hope all goes well; i know the Rockfords will come back to life as long as my hands are steady, but the Hifonics is up in the air.

Next up: an oil and coolant change in time for warm weather.

Thanks for all the pics of the "Naked" Vibe, will come in handy down the road. I saw some of the same rusty spots when I had the rear interior out. Also curious how much quieter your Vibe is, and what tires you have, mine have pronounced road noise.

Looks like well on the path to a well integrated system, wish I had done more to mine, but needed to get it back on the road,... and the budget was starting to get tight.

On the doors, ran into a problem on mine, and with the foam in your door, may want want to check the following:

Some more pics of the rear (almost) finished have been added.

SUCCESS in repairing the amps in need:
Hifonics 1000D
had all 6 power supply transistors blown, a simple swap and she's up and running

Rockford 400.4
Had one channel of output MOSFETs blown, replaced and running strong! Rockford's old MESHA system was a learning experience.

Rockford 400-2
Repaired previously, but i ordered parts off ebay and they turned out to be fake. Replaced with 4 output FETs and will have much better power handling and quality.

In response to the quesiton:
I don't know what kind of tires i have, something from Firestone but they were replaced 10k miles before i got it. I paid special attention to the wheel wells when deadening. I took the car apart within days of getting it and that was 6-7 months ago, so it's really hard to say how much better it is.

..and do you mean water in the doors? I get a lot of leakage from the seal around the window, but i put a makeshift drainage system so at least it will drip directly over the drainage hole which is clear of foam.
