Hi guys i've been hanging around here for a while but have never posted. So what better way to start off then by posting pics of my baby. I'll start with the standard pic of when I got her to what she looks like now. (As of December 8, 2010 i have done many things to my car, side graphics, undercarriage, front grill and engine street glows, a glass radiator hose and have 5 screens and a few other things, updated pics on last page, Enjoy )
the switch for all the interior lightsSorry guys for all the one by one pics still trying to figure it out (hope ya'll enjoy, i know i needed to post pics didn't want no mobs after me lol )
Glad you finally decided to post pictures! Looks great ! Than again, I am a sucker for every '09-'10 GT I see ! It's great to see another female Vibe owner here! Are your interior pieces painted red or is it just the reflection of the red lights (just curious)? When I saw "HarleyQuinn" I thought of Harlequin romance novels with Fabio on the covers . LOL! Do you have any other plans for your GT?

Thanks for all the love guys I'm glad to be here J, i love my vibe and am a proud female owner lol. The interior is painted red along with some of the trim on the doors. As for my future plans are a new muffler, cold air intake, a poineer double din dvd and nav system, rear seat monitors and replacing all speakers and sub with rockford fosgates. At least to start off with

Thanx I wanted to be the first brave one to do something with the interior and I am loving it! I love the fact that during the day I have the red interior and at night I have the red lights.
actually they are attached to the night time running lights on the gear shift, so when the night time lights turn on they automatically turn on also but can turn them off with the switch. Being red lights, they are actually not as bright as you would think unlike blue ones like in my hubbys car now those are bright.
Nice, I like the red interior lighting. I've been wanting to do something like that ever since I saw it in my friend's 07 Acura TL-S. But his came stock and yeah red isn't as annoyingly bright looking at night. It's very nice =D
Welcome and I love the mods so far!!! Not too many on the 09+ have been retrofitted with projectors (lowincash is the only name that comes to mind, but I think someone else has too) so maybe you should add that to your list, of course with some red halos!!
April 2010 Co-MOTM * Custom LED Gauge Cluster swap * LED dome, HVAC, and shifter * Retrofit projector w/ blue halo * Kenwood KDC-HD942U * Herculined cargo area * Debadged *Wolfman's Garage
Thanks for all the love guys I forgot to put the lights on my future plans (just gotta find them) ponta, i took everything apart and basically painted it, including the front grills. I figured if i messed up i could always change it back to black. There is a place that sells the vinyls for $200+ but i just made sure i got a good spray paint and a bright shop light and baked in the pieces under the light. It has held up very well and have had tons of compliments on it, asking where i got it done at
The Joker must be so proud! Is that a military base decal I see on the windshield?

I must admit the red interior pieces aren't exactly my cup of tea, but you like it and it's your car so that's all that matters (I'm definitely not saying it looks bad or anything, just not my taste) !You may want to check out my Free & Easy Modifications For Your 2009 - 2010 Vibe page for a few more ideas you may want to use on your GT .It's looking great! Keep it up ! Quote, originally posted by ponta2147 »I love love LOVE all the red interior accents!!! How did you get those done?? K-Nine yeah that is a military decal my hubby is in the Army we are here in Fort Hood TXJ, i know the interiors red is not for everyone but its my fav color also and it compliments the rest of my car and i'm proud to say its different and i'll def check out the pages ponta we def have the love of the color red in common but i really wanted a black vibe i personally think its the sexiest color when its clean
Jackie thanks for the compliments i appreciate them Trust me guys it wasn't the easiest thing to do, take the car apart and paint it, i thought many times "what am i thinking" but in the end i am happy i did cuz i know so far there is no other like my vibe
Love the theme Harley! Black, red and white is my thing. I've done some engine parts in the red, calipers are next, and anything else I can get going before the Indy Meet. And like I said, the person who drives the most miles to get there gets a "small, inexpensive and hardly worth me bring it to the meet" Vibe item from me. I will warn, though... a 2003-2008 Vibe owner might appreciate it a little more than 2009-2010. I know you wanted that Cosby sweater, too...
Thanx jkm311 I love these colors My engine parts are red and so are my calipers and the grills on the front, I'm gonna try to make it to the Indy meet, my hubby says we should Heck yeah I really wanted that sweater, never know when the occasion will rise for one lol but in all seriousness I'd appreciate a cold Big Red (soda)

Anyways AWESOME work on your vibe. Also it's nice to see another 09 Vibe GT on this site, and being a young lady makes it even more special Seeing how your into RED (my fav color) and red LED lighting, you really need to add a high mount 3rd brake light to your list of mods. Attached are pics of my Vibe GTand what it looks like This pic is with the PARK lights on!
This pic is with the BRAKE lights on. I still have to upload ALL these pics on the creation of this high mount 3rd brake light Been extremely busy with A/C calls and not much time to devote to this site. Hopefully this week

AH! a fellow Texan! Welcome nice GT! love the light accents! and to help you post pictures most of us use a photobucket account which is a free image hosting site. there they have 4 links, after you have uploaded an image, to use for forums, emails, direct links, and one more. the one you would use here is the ones that use an IMG tag, ie [IMG][/IMG]and thus you can get many pictures in one post instead of doing individual posts with attached photos
NascarXprt thanx for the tips i'll keep that in mind, i go to san antonio a lot since my parents are down there, so maybe you'll see me around since i do stand out lolHere is a pic of the engine
