I never hand sand also, I always use my electric sander so I'm gonna wet sand on it with an electric sander and I should come out even. I'm gonna focus on the front of the headlight, but leave the parts where there's amber dark. I've also noticed this lens tint dries in an almost glass like to the touch finish. I'm planning on painting my trim, molding, cadding, whatever anyone wants to call it. The gray part on my car on the outside, but anyways I'm planning on using this lens tinting stuff to paint it and my grille because of the finish it dries to. Also it'll make it black after 3 coats so it'll take a few cans but if it comes out with the same finish as it has on the headlights, it should come out really good. I'll start out by testing it on something, possibly the grille, but that'll give me an idea of how it'll come out.

With something as delicate as the headlights, I would handsand over using a sander, but to each his own...just be careful. I'm sure you know what you're doing. And I'm all for experimenting...ESPECIALLY with paint, but if you're going to do the cladding, be SURE you scrub with dish soap, rinse very thoroughly, and maybe even prep with alcohol and let airdry before you paint it. I'd hate to see bad results. Just be careful.

Me too, and the reason i use electric is how even it comes out. Also I'm not to sketchy about it since i'm just wet sanding and not doing any low grit. I'm also buffing it after i'm done sanding to make sure it comes out with a nice finish. Just keep me in your prayers, lol. And how did yours dry? Did it have the same finish as mine or was I just lucky. Mine feels somewhat like a mirror. In any post now where I see someone saying they're gonna tint the lights, i'm going to highly unrecommend it just because they don't know what they're getting into. After wetsand, it should be fine with some halogen to back it up but even after wet sand, it'd be super dark with stock bulbs.

yeah mine had the same finish on mine. I never even clearcoated my headlights. Just that tint and then wetsand and buff. It's good stuff. cost me $12 a can here. how bout you?

Simple fix for your missing gt badge would be to debadge JUST the back. Leave the badges on the doors. and then you can mount the "Vibe" badge from the hatch to somewhere in you car or your engine compartment...

Here are some shots from yesterday. I [assed an OHV Park and decided to pull in there on the way home and snap a few pics. And then there's the Bomz Intake.... it looked all shiny, so I pulled my Engine cover off and put a LOT more clear coat on it and then wetsanded it and polished. it's waaaayyy more noticeable now.Oh, and the grafxwerks decals... Also some led's I have done. The grilles all lit up, and the engine bay. I stopped working on the leds there because I started thinkin I may go red instead.

im liking the green a lot! and also for the engine cover id would have gone with the grafixwerks overlays for the vvt-i 16valve instead of painting it and the arrow head on the cover too.

You going to leave that spoiler black? I'm planning spoiler(s) and really considering leaving them black since my scheme is going to be lava/black... I think this looks BA the way it is!

Very nice man. I did some plasti dip painting about a week ago, just have not shared any pictures yet. When I get some up you'll have to check igt out. I think what I did would look sweet with what you've got too. Our cars are similar with the black accents, mine will hopefully have a different spoiler tho. Keep up the sweet work on the vibe
