A few new pics/mods • Hella Supertones installed! • Painted grille gloss black • Tenzo Passion 5 17" Wheels
Finally got a New Alpine Head Unit (ida-x305) with Imprint Processor. Huge upgrade with just the stock Monsoon speakers so far I love being able to go all digital, no more CDs needed as I run everything off the iPod now (most of my music is converted to m4a files). Love the album art too! Here are some pics... Bought a new amp, ARC KS 330.4: New component speakers (Hertz HSK 165) should be here on Thursday.

nice pics.....how did you get the seat covers?....if you ordered them from the http://www.wetokole.com/PONTIACF.html what car model did you select because it isnt showing the vibe?....ive been looking for some nice seat covers that wont interfere with the side airbags....EDIT: im thinking you ordered by selecting Toyota Matrix... http://www.wetokole.com/MATRIXF.htmlbut..then theres the question..how did you get the "Vibe" embroidered?...lol
The Wet Okole seat covers were spendy, but I love the fit. Here is the info from my order:MATRIXF, Toyota Matrix Front Seat Covers • YEAR: 05 • SideAirbag: No They asked me to include the following info in the note/comment area:NOTE: Seat covers are for a 2006 Pontiac Vibe Graphic info:GMGRAPHICS Autographz Custom Graphics for General Motors • GRAPHIC: GMV002 • GRAPHICCOLOR: Black add $59.00 You may want to call them to insure you order the right ones since they are custom and will not be refunded. FYI, the graphics are not embroidered, they are a heat transfer process known as flock. Like the soft, suede-esque t-shirt application (think Abercrombie). Looks nice and clean, I love 'em! I believe there may have been an option for those with side air bags.
That's what we call broke person's rims! I like the industrial look, gotta get some chrome lugs now! Thanks to fellow Genviber PMARTE for the info on the trim rings!
Sorry Toasted7, I just saw your question...The seat covers were $260 for the pair including the cleaning kit, can't remember how much the kit actually was (maybe 20 bucks or so...I know I'm a sucker). Add the $59 for the vibe logos (total for both seats) and an extra $20 for shpping. Grand total $339 I didn't mind paying it since they are neoprene making them fairly waterproof, plus I the custom fit. There are also some pretty decent colors to choose from, I just wanted to stay monochromatic for the Abyss. It didn't hurt that I had Christmas and birthday money to put towards them last year, that knocked down my out of pocket expenses significantly. May have had a harder time justifying the purchase without it.
Looks great, Don't take this the wrong way, You are so lucky that your hood was destroyed in your wreck. I have been wanting that hood for a long time, But when I had a little accident, $6500 dollars damage, The hood didn't receive a s much as a scratch on it. I almost took a sledge to it. lol
LOL, I hear ya. I guess I got "lucky" on that one Honestly, if that didn't happen I would probably still be riding around stock. Thanks to my insurance company for making an expensive hood much more affordable. Sorry it didn't work out for you, but love your ride!

Just debadged the ride yesterday and put on the projektors I bought from SCherry2. Added some more pics after a little wash/wax...Whelan you would be proud...I got megs!
Thanks for posting the info about the seat covers! I've been looking at the Wet Okole's too... they look the best out there and the waterproof seats are what I need, especially when I start doing more watersports this summer.
Pandora the 2006 Pontiac Salsa Vibe, 17"wheelsMods: tint, "Pandora" windshield decal, front badge skull overlay, rainguards, hoodguard, Projectorz headlite covers, black painted grills, FIAMM dual-tone horns, black grafxwerks overlays, redouts, Genvibe decals, splashguards, scangaugeII, 12v console outlet, DRL interrupt and I turned off that @#$% seat-belt beep! upcoming: red interior LEDs
paint your nose grilles....I used spraypaint can, Krylon Fusion for plastic, gloss black.....also what colors did you choose for your seat covers....is that black or charcoal for the outer color?...did they ship you that armrest cover also?
car is coming along nicely, however you need 2 things very badly:1. WHEELS! (removed)!!! WHY OH WHY ARE YOU RUNNING ON STEELIES???2. Lower it. that wheel gap makes me cry, but this also would be affected by #1 ^^Is there any particular reason you are running on steelies?? They do make some nice looking hub caps you could paint black even. I don't know if it's a fashion thing or a money thing? Just seems strange when you spend a bunch of money on a hood, tint, and other things. ??? I'm confused.

I'm confused.Car accident = RK Sport hood for $200 (thanks Geico)Had to get tint, but that was reasonable.Seat covers = Christmas gift (free is good).Headlight covers $40 from a fellow genviber. The wheels/tires that I like tend to fall between $1200-$1800, just can't pull that off right now with my paycheck supporting the household and still making car payments.Trim rings and chrome lugs = better looking wheels for $100 total, like the indutrial raw look vs plastic hub caps. Not set up to do much on the car myself, as far as tools and garage space are concerned, so $600 for lowering is still not very feasible.Don't get me wrong, there is nothing I would like more than a lowered vibe with some hot rims, but it's not gonna happen right now, unfortunately. I'll catch up with you guys some day...guess I should have charged more for those hoodies

Thanks 4 the offer, but I'm gonna save up for some that I have my eye on. Also thanks for replying to the previous question, must have missed that one.
I like the wheels I like being a bit different too I like to pretend Pandora is an SUV rather than streetcar, thus I don't want to lower her so I can off-road her when i need to without freaking about it.I Love your car's look!!P.S. I'm wearing my Vibe Hoody to work today since it's FREEZING inside Thanks again!

I just couldn't understand why so much into the appearance and just leaving the steelies on there. LOL I thought maybe it was some sort of statement or artful protest. I dunno. Anyways, good luck. and really, I have found that keeping an eye on local buys are great ways to pick up some nice wheels for cheap. Other than my cheap winter rims and the ADR's I bought off ebay, all my other rims/wheels I've purchased have been used. Nothing wrong with that. And you don't have any monkey wrench buddies who has tools that could help you do some cheap springs or something for a six pack? I know we've installed and reinstalled many friends suspension bits, they just buy us dinner and maybe a six pack.

I had a mechanic friend who would roll me in after hours and either let me use the lift or he'd do the work for me, for a CASE of beer! I was getting ripped off!!
