finnaly off work, the striping was done by myself and a friend who recomened i check out buying a vibe. we just looked at the car and came up with a few different ideas till we agreed which was the best.we followed the contours of the car for the front bumper and around the fender, straid across was the side door panel inserts. also got the hood by folowing the bends already placed on them, that one was the easiset to decide its cool factor. then another just under the roof rack to accent the sides more. and the last was on the top of the lower spoiler to give the back some color.i have one mod that baffles me in how to do it. i want to raise the tp spoiler up by just one more inch, but its all fiberglass. i can A, make mounts it sits on, but im not sure whats the easiest way someone with basic tools could do it. or B, cut off the current legs and buy brackets for aluminum spoilers and install those onto it. but i dont know how easy that would be either. any ideas pls send them over
thats an awesome vibe, pin stripping makes it really stand out too, should add a lil pin stripping to the back just above the license plate where the "pontiac" is...if u want the spoiler higher, should just look into aftermarket spoilers, such as what damronjr has on his
that looks beautiful. great idea w/ the pinstriping too, that's prolly the best pinstriping job i've seen. i wanted to debadge mine the same way a while ago, but never got around to it.what paint did you use for your grill??

will the hatch become unusable if you raise the spoiler? i know when i had my VGT, the top spoiler was made that way so the rear glass hatch lid would still open.i do know that the WRX wings you can find risers that will life the wing up about 2-3". I think you could probably made some decent looking risers to do the same if you know anything about fiberglass. i don't.
the mesh looks sweet!!! im going to have to do something like that how'd you install the mesh?and as for the engine paint the engine cover, fuse box cover, whaser fluid cover, and brake fluid cover all red and get some black reflective VVTL-i engine cover logos from Grafixwerks.com to finish the engnie bay off.
Nice pics, but I'm not lovin' the mesh. It looks "caved in" and takes away from the front bumper lines.Maybe you could replace with the original grill (painted) and paint the borderwork red to compliment the pinstriping.Still, a very nice looking Vibe.
i was thinking of using the old boarder (the silver thing) and making it fit on top of the mesh to hide the sides where u can see very slight imperfections. but to do so i would have to cut the boarder and make it useless to its previous purpose. the mounting of the mesh was simple, i just cut it to a shape just slightly larger and used the old tabs the held the old ones on and drilled 2 small holes and ran zip ties through it. to the naked eye u cant tell how is being held unless u look up from under the car.the main thing i love about the new one is that its indented instead of flush with the bumper, the old style was too smooth for me.ps. HIDs just came in and im hoping i can install them before i have work again at 5, cause if i cant i better have some kind of headlights since i need my car for work
i had no idea they were taken, i just saw a post on the racing forums about 2000 some pictures up from the ripken event and theres 3 pages of just my car. but these are the good ones
