Had to rent a ladder to change some light bulbs in my house. This is a collapsible 16' free standing ladder (total length collapsed is 9'), fit in the Vibe with the front seat up.

Now the four bulb candelabra chandelier in the entry way has 5w LED bulbs instead of the old-school 40w incandescent bulbs :D

I knew I should have taken a pic of my last haul. I just forgot before I unloaded it. Hitch mounted carrier with a 48"x 25"x 45" aquarium stand strapped to it. The end of the basket was probably 4" off the ground and it scraped 4 times driving home!

Vibe can haul big screen TV's. Clerk brought the TV to the curb, pulled up in the Vibe and he looked at the car the whole time, until I opened the hatch and saw all the space inside. 50" no problem. 60" or bigger may be snug depending on box size.

Santa should get a Vibe to replace his sleigh,.. they haul lots of gifts.

A boat motor. Two person lift, opened the side door and slid it in.
Tie down hooks in the Vibe are great!

My vibe hauled a thirty year old 40 gallon breeder fish tank (36" x 18" x 16") and the stand (36" x 18" x 30"). Pretty much filled the area behind the front seats. Will put up a picture or two later today if yesterday's haul.

I know, I know, Most un-impressive Photo EVER! But this picture shows a 10 foot long stick of rigid 1" copper tubing, completely enclosed in the gen1 cabin! I wonder if any other Compact Hatch can also pull this off?

I don't have any pictures but when I had a 91 Corolla sedan, I hauled long 3" PVC drain pipe in it one time. How you ask? I laid the front seat back, undid the back seat's upper part (not on hinges) and ran the pipes through and out the back of the trunk with the trunk tied shut. I got some funny looks in the Lowes parking lot.

Nice work, but about that mower .... "self propelled" ... really ? My wife REALLY wants one of those (she cuts our yard) but I keep our 15 year old Craftsman 20" non-self propelled mower running like new so that she gets her exercise! Below is the proof (love them security cameras  ) Just look at how she is putting forth such effort to cut that grass. I'm extending her lifespan by promoting physical fitness. Gotta love it :P

Marriage tip: When your wife is mowing the lawn, that's not the best time to ask when dinner will be ready.

Add a 96 gallon recycle can to the list of stuff the Vibe can swallow whole. Sure, the recycling folks would have delivered it for an additional five bucks - but what's the fun in that? :D

had full size bikes and all sorts of things in it over the years.

oh yeah I had 2 disassembled recliners in it as well.

Hauled home a junkyard 2zz/c60 combo and all the tools used to pull it today. Only took us an hour and a half to cut it out of the matrix. Tough break on the trans though, the two brackets broke the case where they bolt on in the crash. Hauled everything home at 75 on the interstate lol

Ok so, all of this PLUS a full set of snow tires mounted on wheels. In one load. Still has room for a little more but I don’t think the suspension can take it

I found that you can put two twin, extra long box "spring" boxes into the Vibe and drive home, if you have short legs, like I do. A queen sized mattress also fits if it's rolled.

I also regularly carry a 6 foot stepladder, with the rear window shut. (pull rear seat headrest, hook ladder over passenger headrest). I've carried lots of 8' lumber with the doors shut as well.

Most recently, I hauled 26 computers, three laptops, five monitors, and a pile of battery backups. The people at the electronics recycling place couldn't figure out how I fitted it all in. I filled up two pallets.

I also moved almost as much with the Vibe as the moving truck during our forced move to a new house.

With rear seats folded down I could put in 3-50 pound bales of hay...

Don't ask me how long it took me to clean out the Vibe when I did this..

Also 600 pounds of horse feed-- 12-50 pound bags..
