Bumping this. Although I think the links will need to be fixed.

Couldn't find it with search so manually went down the pages until I found it!

I think I need someone to take this over....

I cant seem to properly edit the original list since the migration and I'm not visiting this site often enough to give it the attention it deserves.

Same goes for the Maint. Index page I created so long ago.

It should be a sticky, if it isn't already.

I wished they worked! I could really use this one:

Searching those terms only comes up with this thread!

Unfortunately, some of these threads were by members who used external image hosting sites, and as they lost their vibe enthusiasm, they stopped hosting their images for us. Some of these I found are marked with an X. These still tend to provide a narrative, and hopefully, if you follow one of these to do a mod, you'll take and post replacement pictures. ragingfish's horn replacement tutorial was as I marked it, useless, because the thread basically says see this PDF which is no longer available, but i figured it best to leave the item in the list with the updated thread link, even though it really is as marked

The "(was #####)" at the end of each identifies the thread number when genvibe used zeroforum software. An increasijng thread number was assigned each time a new thread was created, and provides a chronological order to when the thread was created. It doesn't identify when the thread was last updated, just created. For various reasons, some threads get deleted. It seems that when genvibe was converted to phpBB, the existing threads were renumbered in order, preserving the chronological nature of the thread numbers, but there were no empty placeholders for previously deleted zeroforum threads.

Finding some of these was more difficult due to the common words to search for, and using the chronological thread numebrs helped identify exactly which thread was originally lionked, given, for example the large number of threads about power windows and DRLs.

The internet archive web.archive.org was useful for a number of threads, looking up the old URL there to see the date, originator, and creation date of the original URL, but it seems they stopped archiving genvibe at some point

Thank you so much Joatmon!
Consider making this a new thread, and put it up as a sticky because a lot of people will not scroll down to this post. Of course you would credit to the original author: zionzr2.
