drill holes in dip stick=-

2003 vibe.
even with reading glasses it,s difficult to see the level on the dip stick.

i also have a1998 chevy lumina and it has small holes drilled in the dip stick for easy seeing. anyone try this idea on a vibe yet?

If you wait longer to change your oil,until it gets really black, that will make it easier to see on the diptstick

seriously though, if you want to drill holes in the dipstick,make sure you won't weaken it too much. Would suck to have the tip break off inside the engine

Maybe try to just cut little notches into the side of it, like in the transmission dipstick.
