i just noticed to if i type in genvibe.com it sends me to some odd site, however if i type in forums.genvibe.com, it takes me right here. i don't think it's a spyware issue. I would be highly surprised if i've been infected with me being as (removed) as i am about my computer and now the fact the there is more than one person having this issue.

Godaddy.com is a domain registration site, I'm wondering if something is funky with the genvibe.com domain name.

Looks like the non-www version just no longer has its pointer to our hosting account. Not sure if this is something Nick would be able to contact them about or not.

There are some new developments coming down the line, but rest assured some bugs you may be seeing are most definitely related... hang in there.

I haven't been able to get on genvibe from my work computer since Wednesday. I spend half my day goofing off on genvibe.

Hi everybody,The domain name was changed to the new owner and it takes a little time to work its way through the system. All of the issues with being redirected to GoDaddy parking pages should be resolved at this point. We'll be doing another transfer in early March but hopefully it'll go a little smoother.Mike K.

I see an extra set of google ads at the bottom of the page, which is cool, not complaining, but do you want people to deliberately spend some time clicking though some of them to help generate revenue for the new business model?

I have not been able to get on via http://www.genvibe.com but was able to get here through a Google link to a thread. Even then the circle of dots on Firefox continues to rotate clockwise, and a lot of the icons (e.g. the emotion symbols) are not complete. All other websites I use are working normally.

I haven't seen many problems since Friday afternoon, it looks like the changes that I made to the webserver configuration have made thing www site stable for most people. When did you observe these problems, jake75?

For the past couple of days and now cannot get on to http://www.genvibe.com. Maybe it is in my "set" but access to other sites seems normal.

try clearing all your history and cookies and files. then see if you can get on. Your computer maybe pointing still to the old server because of your stored info on your computer.

Another possibility is that a DNS server upstream of you has cached the invalid information. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to solve this issue other than waiting it out, or changing DNS servers.
