New aftermarket suspension for 1.8 2010 Vibe

Post by Atrixz »

Does anyone know which lowering springs/struts would be a proper fit for a 1.8L 2010 pontiac vibe? I looked everywhere, and all sites seem to end at the year 2008 for vibes.

Also since I've already posted, anyone have suggestions for a 1 - 1.5 inch drop? Without sacrificing ride comfort much if at all...

I am not aware of any aftermarket "performance" shocks and struts for the 2nd gen (2009-2010) Vibes.

As far as springs go, it sounds like the TRD springs would be a great setup for you.

Now that I'm finally getting ready to purchase, I noticed those TRD springs are listed for the 2009 Matrix, which I assume is the same for a 2010 Vibe? It does look like I'll be going with those TRD springs if they are the correct ones for the vibe, as I don't even know where to start finding springs elsewhere.

And does anyone have any recommendations on struts along with these TRD springs? I've been looking casually here and there, it's hard to find parts for the 2009/2010 Pontiac Vibes. All vibe parts seem to end with the first gen vibes 2008.

These are the TRD springs you need ;).

For a lot of aftermarket parts you need to search for a 2009-2013 Matrix as opposed to searching for a 2009-2010 Vibe. KYB makes OEM equivalent shocks and struts (Excel-G / GR-2). I am seriously considering doing TRD springs and KYB shocks and struts on my 09 GT...
