Stiffen Rear Sway Bar DIY and Cheap

Post by meidou »

Hey Guys
You may find this forum posting interesting: http://www.clubarmada.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20675" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Basically what the guy did was to fill his hollow swaybar with Great Stuff which hardened and made it stiffer.
Do you guys think this can work on our Vibes, and also what other alternatives can you guys suggest to Great Stuff,I was thinking about using an acrylic resin that I can pour into the sway bar.

After changing out my sway bar I'm pretty confident that the one on the Vibe/Matrix (and Corolla) are solid.

That sucks, wanted an upgrade on the cheap, ah well time to go hunting for the Progress RSB (kinda reminds me of Moby (removed))
