Wifes 2005 Vibe needs suspension help!

Post by SoPaRider »

My wifes 2005 Vibe with 43,000 miles needs new shocks and struts, we've always felt the ride to be a bit rough since buying the car new, is there a fix to make this thing ride like a Caddy or Greyhound Bus?Jeff (SoPaRider) from PA

The ride is supposed to be firm. You could try putting a 15 inch wheel/tire combo on the car and use a high sidewaled tire.

increased tire pressure softened sharp bumps quite a bit in my car.I don't think you can get softer springs, but if Monroe makes shocks to fit they should be less harsh (at least I've heard).
