Well, I'm am now another 555 bucks in debt to my father, bringing my total debt above 4 grand now. I must have ran over some pothole or something, because my right front strut blew up. I noticed large wet spots under my car in the front right corner. I looked under my car and noticed that there was fluid literally dripping from the car. Under further examination, I found that it was all coming from the strut. By the time I got to belle tire, the strut was making all sorts of terrible sounds. Oh well.Times like this it makes me glad that I spent my tax returns on new component speakers and a new head unit!
lol. you don't have to tell me about it. since end of Feb, I have mucho medical bills, then my clutch went out 2 weeks ago and now my motor. I feel your pain.
Remember, if you need help with anything there are a few MI Members here more than willing to help ya out. A few of us could of replaced the strut for ya.

I didn't really have the luxury of shopping around though, the strut blew up pretty bad. And I'm absolutely sure that lowering spring helped them go. The struts had 112,000 miles on them, 50,000 of which where on s-techs.
oh..yeah thats a lot of miles on stock struts with lowering springs. Specially for roads like ours in northern midwest. Heck with stock stuff on my ms3 they feel bad at 35k miles

Crappy way to go for sure...

LOL. I got rid of the Vibe when the clutch was on the way out (new owner replaced after only 2 months), broken front end, broken windshield and expired tags. $2500 to fix all that... about what my new BUILT motor will cost me installed. And Mav's 04 base Vibe's transmission went out in December, that cost them just under $2K to fix. At least I'll be pushing 350 hp to the wheels once it's all said and done. Ran 12's in all 3 Subes, so 11's this year, baby! and then it will be on to 10's!

My struts were shot from the S-techs on the LGT. Still sucks... it's kinda like that saying goes, "when it rains, it pours"Unfortunately, rain doesn't cost you money!
