powdercoat if you can. Otherwise my manager boss guy uses this paint (forgot the name, like 41, 51 or 59 or something) that is super strong. He just did his mustangs brake calipers in it. It doesnt flake off like the cheap brake kits. Ill get the name of it and let you know.

But you helped answer my next question...which is what is the best paint to use that won't flake off easily. I'll look forward to what you find out.

On the advice of a mechanic friend of mine, I used 2 coats of BBQ paint as primer and then caliper paint. It works great. On my truck I didn't even use caliper paint and the flat BBQ paint still looks great after almost 2 years of road salt and abuse.

VHT Super High Temp black for the rotors/drums... Whatever color you decide for the calipers, you aren't going to find a good matching blue for them... I would say black
Quote, originally posted by WaveAction »k well u cant really notice it but i did the calipers blue and left the back since it's already to dark to even notice themI see a tinge of blue, how about and up close shot? I can already see that it's a much different blue than the car, kinda like my old Subaru with it's "blue" painted clipers.. ..cept mine matched a little better cause of the lighter blue...

I like to keep a cleaner consistent look. i went with black for both and put the caliber sticker on it from grafxwerks --- I think it looks good and matches betterEDIT: Just went to grafxwerks, who's Vibe is on the homepage?
