Couldn't find any bad reviews for the seller and they were a few bucks cheaper than eBay. Now, the price for the S-Techs is even less than the H-Tech - wonder why?Anyway, I am excited! I was beginning to be afraid if I waited too long these springs would no longer be available.
Not only trying to decide between those two, I don’t even know if they’re applicableSpotTheDogg wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 12:41 pm Hello all, looking at spring listings and they all say FWD. Does our 2005 AWD use the same part? Trying to decide between H Tech and S Tech now. Thanks, great site
A two inch drop looks good, but is quite a bit lower than stock monster truck status.
Canuck AWD springs are discontinued.zbyers wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 6:30 am I believe http://www.canuckmotorsports.com/ has lowering springs for the AWD.
As far as I know, the FWD springs should suffice. However, it would drop the AWD even further than a FWD. The AWD Vibe sits about 0.50-0.75" higher than the FWD. So instead of a typical 2-2.25" drop, you would likely be closer to 3". I haven't a clue how that may affect the drivetrain since it is AWD.
Yes, the AWD sits higher as it has taller/longer springs than the FWD. It has one extra coil compared to the FWD.SpotTheDogg wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 7:28 amCanuck AWD springs are discontinued.zbyers wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 6:30 am I believe http://www.canuckmotorsports.com/ has lowering springs for the AWD.

I’m not following the logic of the added 1” of drop for an AWD, are you saying the AWD sits higher because it has longer springs?
Has anyone confirmed this?SpotTheDogg wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 11:11 am So just a set of stock FWD springs will lower it 1”? That sounds ok.
Yes, several. The Rally Vibe GT is running AWD springs, since it sits higher. My brother put AWD springs on his FWD so it sits higher now too.SpotTheDogg wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 11:12 amHas anyone confirmed this?SpotTheDogg wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 11:11 am So just a set of stock FWD springs will lower it 1”? But they all run the same struts?zbyers wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 2:19 amYes, several. The Rally Vibe GT is running AWD springs, since it sits higher. Strut bolts up the same, but probably is slightly longer. Spring definitely is.SpotTheDogg wrote: ↑Wed Apr 15, 2020 8:34 amBut they all run the same struts?
Is the ride height listed anywhere?
Basically made it look like it is stock FWD height.4StayHawaii wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 2:11 am It cost me a lot to find out a while ago on my 2004 awd. I had put H techs in my awd they were horrible. They were probably only meant for the weight of the fwd. The front bottomed out at freeway speed. I got eibachs for it and the rear was still sagging too much. I finally installed a set of stock fwd springs in the rear with the eibachs in front. This ended up being perfect height and ride for my needs (you may have different opinions). I had 1” spacers front and 2” rear. (2” is probably too much but it looks cool)
