06 rotors and brake pads.

Post by zackkickit »

Hey guys I've been told by the place I got my tires changed that my rotors had a flat spot in them, and I kinda bump when I slow down to a stop. Anyways I was looking for some good rotors and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me. Right now this is what I was looking at.

Nothing wrong with those, but pretty much anything will work. Being from Florida, you don't have to worry about rotor's greatest enemy... Rust. I'm also not getting what they mean by 'flat spot'. Rotors tend not to get warped all that much these days. It's usually the pads, or the calipers applying uneven pressure.

I used Centric premium rotors and powerstop z17 ceramic pads from Rock Auto, it was about $175 to do the whole car. They look good and are working well so far.

Centric 120.44114 front and 120.44115 rear
Power Stop 17923 front and 17823 rear
