Eh, they did it to themselves. Stolen car, trying to steal cart loads of stuff with fake credit cards, fleeing police at 100mph. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Thankfully they didn't take anyone else out with them.

The positioning of those stop strips next to the parked semis could also have gotten the driver of one of those semis killed, not to mention the huge amount of damage done to his truck. This was not a smart setup to stop these criminals and could have ended much, much worse than property damage, the owner of the stolen vehicle getting to enjoy either dealing with insurance and/or having no way to replace the vehicle besides out-of-pocket, and a couple of dead idiots.
