Separate sound bites from the report are included as links below.----------------------------Renewable Fuels Association president and CEO Bob Dinneen comments on some of the top ethanol industry stories to watch in 2012.The big priority for the ethanol industry will be protecting the Renewable Fuels Standard from being modified or eliminated.Dinneen says they are looking forward this year to the first commercial availability of E15 for use in 2001 and newer vehiclesThe Volumetric Ethanol Excise Tax Credit for grain based ethanol expired without protest from the industry at the end of 2011, but Dinneen says they will work to ensure that the tax credits for cellulosic ethanol will continue past the end of 2012.The other two top ethanol stories to watch in 2012 according to RFA are free and fair trade for ethanol and legal battles over ethanol use, particularly the Low Carbon Fuel Standard in California, which was just declared unconstitutional by a judge but will be appealed by the state.
