So it's been quite a while since I've been on, so I figured I'd give a quick status update if anyone cares.Back in May, I decided to drive across the country and move to Las Vegas from Detroit. Since then, I have not had much access to a computer. That would explain my lack of involvement on this site. The Vibe is still going strong, albeit with a bit more miles (140,000) and a few minor dings and battle scars from the big drive. Fortunately, the majority of those are barely visible, if at all.Hopefully I will stop being lazy and fix my computer, in which case you might see a little bit more of me here and there. I should probably get around to posting pics or something of the sort. (I assume the love of pics on this site has not subsided)Anyhoo, I must be going. I will be around, lurking in the shadows
One of my favorite Metro Detroit Vibes is alive! Too bad I never got a chance to see it up close. Miss seeing you burning down Van (removed). Thanks for the check-in, AJ.

By your stds I am a noob here, but welcome back just the same!Yeah, why the move to Las Vegas? Not being a gambler myself I have never been there and had little interest in going but hear, even from gamblers I know, that its gotten bad I've also heard that because of the influx of out-of-towner's moving in over the last 10yrs that unemployment is extreme, perhaps even worse than in Michigan!!If it was just a much needed life change you should know that I moved to Austin 16 yrs ago w/o a job or even the prospect of one. 'Didn't know anyone here and had never even seen the city before. I just packed up and moved. Is that how it was for you too?

I guess the main reason for the move was a sense of adventure. That, and I have a buddy down here who I collaborate with musically, so we are working on our band stuff as well. And no, the parking meters are not as fun here (removed). I forgot about that saucy pic!

I had been thinking about it for about 10yrs before and I was at a real low point in my life. I needed the adventure.I see you're from Plymouth Meeting. I know it. I was in Easton just north east of Allentown. 'Been to Plymouth Meeting a number of times.
