Change Your Passwords!

Post by Tubaryan12 »

Along with changing your clocks and smoke detector batteries when daylight savings time comes around, we should also change our passwords if you don't do so already. I had recently been changing all of them for banking and most social networks but I forgot to change my PayPal account. Today, it was hacked. Luckily for me, I caught it quickly, so that the charge never hit my bank, but let my mistake be a lesson for you. Change your passwords offen, use characters as well as capital letters and number, and never use part of your name, username or email address in the password. That PayPal account was the only one that I have where I didn't follow all of these rules.

I never direct link into my account from an email or anything like that. I'm just glad it cost me no more than 10 minutes of fear.

How do we know this is the real Tubaryan12 posting here? Maybe these posts are from the hacker who got his genvibe password as well as his paypal password!
