sucks to hear, he was a pretty good actor too, when i first saw the topic it looked like "28 ppl found dead in apartment in NY"..and heath ledger was one of them kinda deal

darn, that sucks. i kinda liked him as an actor, had quite an ability. but hanging with people who do drugs can get ya killed.

my friend just messaged this to me. So sad! It sounds like overdose or suicide. He was a good actor and pretty good looking as well.

It may be sad to say but iam glad they had the shooting of the new batman done.....it would have pushed it back a year or two.but it sounds like a few to many pills might have been involved.

They were almost done with the Joker and Batman filming. Wonder if they will use his double and feed in some voice to cover?

Sad that he died.But they will probably have no problem finishing The Dark Knight. I'm pretty sure all the filming is done, but even if they needed pickup shots or reshoots, they could finish the movie.Brandon Lee died before The Crow was done, and they finished that. And Oliver Reed died before his shots were done in Gladiator, but they still finished that too. It cost like $3 million for 2 minutes of footage of him with a digital double, but they got it done.Not a big fan of the guy, but I hope his family is okay and RIP.

a friend of mine read that they dont know how they are going to do some of the promotion now. I'm sure that they will figure it out.
