Post by Vibe_dude »

i just saw the new 20 sec blip of the movie during the ncaa finals last nite.......all i can say is SWEET! i have been waiting for this story to end for so long........i can say i wont be waiting in line like some ppl to see it opening nite, but i will see it opening weekend....the only bad part is Darth Vader is only shown in the last 10 mins or so of the movie......i guess we can take the rest of the story from there.

Hopefully it doesn't blow, I was not too impressed with Episode 2. The fight scene with Yoda pretty much saved that movie. Oh yeah, and Natalie Portman doesn't hurt anything either.

I keep putting it off, hopefully this weekend. I am waiting for all of the little freaks to see it and the half mile lines to turn into quarter mile lines. I have heard a few of my friends say it was very good. One said that it was his new favorite of the six.

the wife and I just saw it and, I must say its one of the worst movies that we have ever seen. It was really a waste of time to go see it, I could not recommend this joke of a movie to anyone.

Yeah we went and saw it last night. Aside from the light sabre battles, there's really nothing going for this movie. After all the hype from people saying how good the final one was, I was quite disappointed. The acting is just horrible.

Yeah I think part of it was that eps 1 and 2 stunk so badly that 3 came out to be pretty good and it was in comparison. I loved how dark ep 3 was

I never (and will never) have seen Phantom menace and Clone wars, but, dang comparing this to the original 3 is soooo wrong. The special effects did look good, but the acting was the worst. IMHO there was so much more emotion and you really felt for the characters in the first 3. I guess you have to look at the calibur of actors, between the 2 trilogies. Enough said....just give me a pill to make me forget that I saw it and all will be good.

I thought it was better than eps 1&2, but still not nearly as good as the original 3. I was dissappointed. The dialogue and acting were still horrible; at least Ian McDiarmid put in a credible performance. It was also so rushed - makes you wonder what he was thinking when he wasted an entire movie on pre-adolescent Annakin. The second half of ep 3 should have been an entire movie. The first half and eps 1 & 2 could easily be told in 2 films. The three new films also take themselves too seriously; there was some intentional campyness in the first 3 that made them so much fun. It's too bad Lucas has apparently gotten too arrogant to let someone else write the dialogue and direct the films. It's a great story, and deserves a better telling.
