Gas consumption

Post by JammyJams »

Hi !I love the look of the Vibe, and really want to get one. However, someone told me the gas consumption on it was crazy. Does anyone have any input on this? I love the car, but don't want to spend a small fortune on gas.

Who told you that? Most have a 1.8L I4. I get 33 MPG very easily and 36 MPG without much trouble at all. The Vibe is extremely good on gas.

Welcome to the forums! The car is great on gas as long as you don't have a heavy foot lol!

I have the 2003 GT and I've seen as much as 35mpg (long trip). Average around 26-28mpg. Of course if I have a heavy foot its in the low 20s.
