It pretty much sucked compared to previous events. The course was great but due to weather, everyone was going pretty slow. Only got 3 runs in per group. I tried out the slicks I bought... probably not the best idea because of the rain. But the track was dry on my third run and the tires were warmed up. Had we gotten a 4th run, I'm sure I could have done better. Hope went out and beat all the ladies I believe. Of course they were in RWD cars which handicapped a bit of the field. It was the last SCCA event of the year. Bring me my A-stock 1st place trophy. Oh and yes I ran others in my class at several of the events. Not my fault they were slower haha. Some pics.My co-worker Jake having funDent dude being towed away, better luck next year.inkpreza leaning into the turnmissiceblast on course? :D Jay sliding in.kemosabe trying to be faster then justin's mad camera skillz.Hope hoping for a 89.999Looks like Ralph is biting his tongue. And some of me.White and silver is... boring.Ralph slaying cones... at least its not timing gear. This just looks funny.

(pic 10 should explain)I always run that corner hard as it leads into a slalom and I love a good slalom. Only one guy ever "almost" hit that box and thats because he wiped out sideways and slide. But that was at the last event too. I have in car footage also but no idea how to upload off the camcorder and onto the computer...

yeah the people who set up a coarse really look into alot of details to prevent any damage to anyone. so its probably not all that scary, just pointing out funny stuff

Very Nice, even with the wet conditions.

It seems like a really tight course

it is. oddly enough, though there is so much land in AK, hardly any places to race. this is one of the larger venues we have accessible to us (close by about 45 mins away). it's actually held at the drag strip and we use the parking lot and staging areas. we both took in car footage. though it looks and sounds as if i'm going faster, phil actually has faster times, though i'm not "too" far behind him. it was still fun today, however, the rain sucked. once the sun came out and our tires could hook up a little better, it made for a quick and fun course with much less conage! LOL

oddly enough even with those near wipe outs, I was about .04 of a second off my best run in the wet. Here is one of Hope in the rain. And here is one of me in the dry, my best of the qualify rounds.

You can really see the STI working! (no sound at work so I have to rely on my awesome sound FX (mouth))I like that you're on it. so many times at an autocross do I see it that there trying but they could be pushing it so much harder, you seem to be pushing it pretty good, but still in control!

Smooth is fast and often times people will comment on how I don't look that fast out there just because the car isn't flying around in a shower of cones. but then they see my times. I'm still getting to know the car and what it can do. I was shaking after that near wipe out lol.Now Hope's videos are completely different, her in car video seems faster then mine but thats because of how her car sounds. Usually though I have a couple second lead on her but this past weekend she was right there nipping at my heels lol.

no, this weekend sucked for me. i did ok, beat a few folks that have beaten me all season. :D but my heart wasn't completely into it this time, too much stuff going on i suppose. i had fun of course, just wasn't on my A game. I definitely FELT i was going faster, watching the in car vids it seems I am, but then watching the outer vids of me and looking at my times, i'm quite a bit slower than what i thought. still, i'm staying ahead of a few people and hopefully by next season i'll (we'll) have caught up to some of the other couples! LOL. then it will be Team Reeve vs some of the other racing couples out there. that will be fun!
