The repair image suggests that their is a secondary box in the upper passenger rear panel that has an antenna amplifier and maybe some other circuitry related to the cell/xm antenna. Has anyone been in there and can describe? Generally an antenna amp is on the antenna base. Or maybe there is no antenna amp. Looks like I'll need an antenna extension cord too as most antennas don't come with 2 foot cables on the end unless they also used one between the box and their antenna
I'm looking at replacing it with a shark fin antenna, which has an integrated amp and requires power.
