Previous owner always cracked the windows to vent (smoke), over time they smooshed the weather stripping beyond repair. Window did not leak water, but at road speed had noise right at ear level, from the air hissing past the weather stripping. With the sun roof open it sucked the air though the deformed gaps and was quite loud. Bought the replacement weather stripping for the front driver door P/N 88974658 in July 2013, with shipping cost was $85 U.S.

Got lucky that I was able to slide the new weatherstripping into place. I understand that sometimes you have to remove the glass to get the new weatherstripping installed, especially if the window tracks are dirty, rusted, or deformed.
