Cabin Air Exchanger

This may be an odd one, but Just got an '03 Vibe and when I turn off the internal air circulator it clicks. I pulled out the glove box and see that the door opens and closes to change from inside to outside air, but the motor does not stop when it closes of to the inside air. (Hope this makes sense)

So, there is a constant clicking. I have checked for obstructions and don't see any, has anyone had this problem before? Is the motor bad, or is there a stop sensor that is possibly dirty?

Any help would be appreciated.
