I wanted the color and texture to be the same as the other silver interior pieces, so I chose to shell out the $45.00 for the new piece rather than messing with painting it. For some reason they changed that piece from black to silver on the 2010 Vibes.Quote, originally posted by KITT222 »It looks good! Thanks !

Yesterday I washed my mom's Vibe, detailed the interior, installed her new license plate sticker, replaced the K&N CAI vacuum hose and IAT sensor screws with the factory stuff and removed the air intake resonator.

FINALLY detailed the car- wash, claybar, polish, wax, used a new product on the windows and headlights, changed wiper blades. Still need to change/clean filters, clean inside of windows, rain-x windows, and use my $30 of free stuff that I won from Delta Sonic to get them to clean my interior. Also add the fuel injector cleaner at my next fillup, and check all the fluid levels. We're leaving for our Washington DC road trip on Saturday!

Last night we cleaned the interior (Invisible Glass) and exterior (Rain-X Extreme Clean) of all the windows, as well as applied Rain-X treatment to the front and rear windows, changed the cabin air filter, and topped off all the fluids. Also in the last few days, we got the interior cleaned using a Delta Sonic gift card. We were going to clean the K&N filter and the MAF, but didn't have time/necessary stuff, and K&N's site said it didn't need to be cleaned for 50,000 miles anyway (though it looks pretty dirty, lol). Onward now for the road trip from Chicago to DC!

I picked up a can of CRC QD Electronic Cleaner at Walmart for less then $5.00.After doing a little more research online about cleaning the MAF sensor, I discovered the two most important things to look for in a cleaner are "quick drying" and "leaves no residue", both of which are stated right on the can of the CRC QD Electronic Cleaner . For when you have time .As far as the filter goes, I use compressed air and/or a vacuum to clean ours every time I change our oil. I have yet to use K&N's cleaner (which AEM recommends for their Dry Flow filters), but I am planning on getting some soon to try.

I got a set of steel rims off a Caravan for my snow tires. $60 including lug nuts. Not too shabby. But what was really cool was that I drove by the place where I bought my Vibe. And from that single trip driving her home from there, I managed to find my way home today. And just like the day we got her, I stopped by Advanced Auto and got some lime green wheel paint and wheel stubs.

Stubs? Did you mean studs? This morning I attempted to install my alt and crank pulleys, but the air gun was not as much help as I had expected. Did not budge. Next attempt will be with a breaker bar

Thankfully enough I remembered those when I picked up the rims, so I grabbed the stems on my way home. Also picked up... some lime green spray paint! Kind of like Houseofbug's Vibe, but also because the guys at the auto shop threw it out there. Color shift paint would have been the way to go, but it was $20 more per can.Could I put centercaps on the steelies? I don't exactly want anything exposed which doesn't need to be.

I saw Tim's Vibe in person last winter and the green steelies looked pretty awesome !The only way to cover up the hubs while using steelies is with wheel covers.

This one took a while to achieve but finally got there I may fill the Vibe up next month sometime and get it ready for cold weather driving. Took my GT to the carwash to vacuum out the interior, wash the car and detailed the dash and such with the free shade available haha. Also clean the wheels with some Meguiars again and shined the tires. Not sure if I mentioned before but during the last trip to the dealership to take care of the pedal they installed the two missing center caps on my rear wheels.

Added a few psi to all the tires, bringing them up to 47psi. Brought the spare tire up to 60psi. Found a nail in the left rear. Fortunately it wasn't leaking. The nail was angled in and only about 1/8 inch deep. It came right out without any effort. Still a $%&# off!!!!!
