I have had zero experience at this, so this is only a possibility that comes form me being inside a car with bad ones: check your motor mounts. If they are bad, than the whole car will vibrate like mad! The vibrating will decrease once operating temperature is reached. Performance will be the same, it will just shake.

I bought two FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filters at Farm & Fleet this morning because they had a $3.00 rebate on them.

changed the tranny fluid! Was really easy and straight forward. Only one quart of old tranny fluid drained out though. Glad it has 2.4 quarts in there now!

Last saturday I spilled milk on the back seat & it was absolutely horrible! after a week of baking soda & dryer sheets ( which worked GREAT by the way !!! ) I vacumed it out. I also gave the Vibe a quickie bath & interior wipe with Megs natural shine.

Installed custom neoprene seat covers front and back. The only thing I don't like is there is no cut-out for the rear seat release on either of the covers for the rear seats. They look good, I'll post a pic later.

Last night, during chat night, star_deceiver suggested I got find some mud to slide around in when it got moist. So I did. Today is snowed then melted, leaving it niiiice and soggy. Vib is a bit dirty! Using the handbrake in dirt and muck is fun! Although, one of the places I slid around I couldn't do everything I wanted to do because there was a GMC van parked on the road by the entrance to it, so I did a neat little turn, and continued on my way. I'm sure I confused them. Last night I tried to do the independent fog light mod, and would you believe it, I missed the wire by, literally, 1mm. I"m hoping to resolved this tonight, because right now I have no fog lights.

Well I attempted to clean the IACV, but could only remove one of the 3 screws, the other two just started to strip. So I wiped out the throttle body and put it all back together.I then replaced the oil control valve filter (only $5 for the new filter from the Toyota dealer). However, in the process of putting the alternator back in, we somehow managed to break the plug off of the oil control valve (I think that's what it is). I'll be looking for one of those Monday, either at a salvage yard or the dealer.Lastly we replaced the belt with Goodyear Gatorback. Probably overdue - old belt had a bunch of little cracks in it.

The grass will grow back and that big pile of ice will keep it mucky for some time... The oil stains from the Harleys have left some nice brown patches... in the brown lawn... and I suppose that pile of dead pallets needs some attention... If the Old Man owned the place the yard would be concrete!

I was finally able to get our "VIBE GT" LED 3rd brake lights installed today! Huge thank you to Tim Pollauf for making these for us! They are very high quality ! I highly recommend them to every '09-'10 Vibe owner!I will update this post with some night shots later tonight .I also painted my mom's exhaust manifold heat shield today. This past Thursday I received our black LiquiDomed decals for our TRD oil filler caps from Grafx Werks. Great product from Ryan as usual . Looks much better than the red and black TRD decal IMO.

I put in a new oil control valve to replace the one I broke. Even with all the stuff I've done to it the past week or two, there's still no improvement in the rough idle. Guess that's just the way it is.

Finaly removed the black steelies this on Saturday. Made sure the brakes were fine while the wheels were removed. On Sunday, I gave the Vibe a good bath (his first real bath since January...) then clayed with Meguiar's blue clay. Then on Monday, we got warmer weather. I polished the car using the new Ultimate Polish from Meg's and I followed it with 2 coats of Ultimate Liquid Wax. Those 2 products are awesome to work with and give awesome results. I also used Meg's #105 and Scratch X on areas that needed it.Now my car would look brand new at close to 46000 km if it were not that the front bumper is quit chipped and looks almost sand-blasted from the last 2 winter. I also will need to replace the windshield. It is cracked on both sides and have several rock chips. Damn winter!!!

I highly doubt you will notice any real day-to-day difference. I have converted a number of cars over the years and have never noticed a difference in power or fuel economy. But what you will get that is less obvious is longer engine and engine oil life.I change mine (and my wife's car too) @ 10,000 intervals, but change to a new filter @ 5k.

Put on 1660kms in 5 days of commuting... Today's average speed was timed (from the time I leave the driveway until the time I park at work) at 132km/h to work and 124km/h returning home and thanks to the 30+km/h headwind I had BOTH ways, today I only managed 29mpg.

Did the 22,500 mile oil changes on both Vibes today, along with the usual using the air compressor to blow out the air and cabin filters, checking tire pressure and lug nuts, checking all fluids, etc. I also picked up a can of CRC QD Electronic Cleaner at Walmart (less then $5.00) and cleaned the MAF/IAT sensors. The Vibes do seem to idle a bit smoother now. We shall see once I actually do more then just start them up though .
