Replaced both lights for the heater and A/C controls. While I was in there I took that ugly green thing off the lighter plug LED in so it now glows white. Looking for a red one, anyone know where I can try? All the auto parts stores here said they don't have anything that small.

Yesterday, washed, cleaned interior surfaces with Mequiars Quick Interior, worked on some scratches, and put some Mequiars NXT wax down. Also applied my Grafwerks lift gate inlay. Tedious work for my big meaty welders hands, but it looks great. Screwed up the rear arrowhead overlay of all things and ordered a new one.

cool stuff everyone is working on their vibes. i just finished putting my thottle body back on today. i took the throttle body off to clean the idle air control valve, because i had a rough idle and stalled once, clean the maf and anything else with carbon. got it all back together and it really runs better, there's alot less engine vibration also.

Well, it was started, last night and it wasn't actually to the Vibe itself, but to something going in it. I've got the first coat of Herculiner on the sub box! Looks pretty good with the first coat, but going to be much better once the second is applied!

A day shy of 7 months since delivery of my '09 and 2,513 miles - went to dealer to get first oil change. Went to grocery store - bought 2 cases of Bud Light - there was a $12 rebate so I passed up the cheap beer.. Why do I feel like I am twittering?

looks very nice, I just may have to try this. I thought you meant you'd actually dyed the whole carpet floor, which I guess would also be possible. Just more of an undertaking. When you say the Vibe logo wasn't dyed, do you mean that you avoided dying it or that it simply didn't take the color the way the carpet fibers did?

Does not take the color the way the carpet fibers did. Must be the shiny thread they use for the logo.

Great idea dying the floor mats, they turned out well. Here's what I did: I hit a concrete curb in the parking lot and could hear something scraping so had to replace a screw that dropped off under the bumper and now she's good to go.

I did the first oil change on my mom's '09 GT (2487 miles) today. Checked all the fluids, tires, etc. I also rotated the tires on my '09 GT (5247 miles).I also wanted to detail both of them this weekend, but it's supposed to rain all week so I figured it wasn't really worth it. Next weekend they will both be getting fully detailed for sure.

My Vibe has been attacked by ARTILLERY FUNGUS twice. I had to spend hours rubbing and picking it off of the rear corner and the roof!Look up the term "artillery fungus" this is a very serious bombing raid.Tip: Use a wet paper towel and your finger nail within it and pick them off and keep rubbing lightly until it's spot is completely gone.
