TRD SuperCharger Idler Bracket on MO

Post by Salsa Guy »

T&A (TwinCharged&Auto) on Matrixowners, also of BackYard Turbo, is making some idler pulley brackets for the TRD Supercharger. This bracket tends to be a high failure item on these SCs because it's made of cast aluminum Here a link to MO. http://matrixowners....58#entry1284958" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .

If you need a Pulley you can get a new one from PSE.

You better Hurry on both!

Do you think it would be worth it for me to get one just in case? Even though mine seems fine now.
Were talking about the idler that's now added behind the alternator right?

If you have the longer bolt for the pulley you should be fine. (35mm-40mm I think). The threads will fail if you are not careful when tightening the pulley down (40 ft-lbs I think). Again I have this posted on here or MO on how to repair it. With these SCs spare parts are always good because GM/TRD won't supply new ones.
